The most interesting thing about this episode, particularly its first airing, was its marketing. As of Valentine's Day, 1978, RMT was 1500 nights old -- and CBS Radio spared little expense letting listeners know. Mandel Kramer himself voiced the ads, which ran for several weeks ahead of the first airing.

My pleasure. I'm slowly getting all the commercials and advertisements added to various episodes in the 1974 season. That is a long task that will no doubt take a few years to complete the whole series run.
